Experion Care NZ is a growing Age Care operator in NZ. Experion Care currently owns six specialized Residential Care facilities in the North and South Island.

**Woodfall Home and Hospital** is a part of our group, located in Fielding. **About the role**

The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for the outdoors. Knowledge of general maintenance is essential and the ability to do physical work is required. The applicant must work well in a team environment, ability to work well under pressure, eye for detail, excellent communication skills.

Have a high level of resourcefulness. Honest and reliable. Excellent English. Previous experience with maintenance work is an advantage. Passion for the age care sector.

**This is a fixed term role for three months and may be extended as needed.**

**About you**:

- Have a can-do attitude.
- Have a wide range of handy person skills. Have a full and clean driver’s license (Manual).
- Be a good communicator.
- General carpentry tasks and projects as well as basic plumbing and mechanical repairs. Needs to be an all-rounder - follows maintenance audit schedules, reporting maintenance issues and repairing if able and handing onto Administrator to request external support. External house cleaning, refurbishment of bedrooms.
- Ability to do painting.
- The ability to work confidently and happily unsupervised.
- Have a good understanding of current building materials. Applicants should be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
- You will need to have a strong practical background or come from a trade or Property Maintenance / Handyman field.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
