This opportunity will see you working on a project basis assisting our PlaceMakers branch network and National Sales team with customer consultations and interior designs for Kitchens, Laundry, Bathrooms and Wardrobes. You’ll be utilising our market-leading 3D Design Planner design tool and supporting this ongoing project with testing and product data management.
**About the role**:
Aiding branches in a design capacity via the 3D Design Planner tool and conducting initial consultations with customers. Help drive sales by providing design and pricing support for Group Home Builder clients, including updating GHB presentations and pricing in conjunction with the relevant Category Manager(s) and Key Account Managers and supporting store development projects with showroom designs for the Interiors categories. Assisting the Category team to prepare and collate data for new product additions to the 3D Design Planner.
Daily you will be responsible for:
- Take clear briefs from clients and discuss all aspects of creating, remodelling, or updating the kitchen and/ or bathroom area of their home.
- You will discuss building materials, themes, colours, patterns, and room layout with a client and produce 3D renders and drawings based on what your client tells you they want.
- Accurately designs Kitchens Laundries Bathrooms and Wardrobes plans as required by the customer
- Assist with quote presentation and pricing
- Ensuring seamless handover of work in progress designs to Branch Consultants for final pricing and closure
- Seeking out value-add solutions for internal and external customers
- Liaising with internal customers with their design plans
**Skills and Experience**:
- Proven Sales/ Customer Service experience, confident and a clear and accurate communicator who can deal with challenging demands and time frames.
- A flare for design or design experience in any industry is welcomed
- The ability to be agile and adjust to changing deadlines and expectations.
- We are looking for someone with a high standard of personal presentation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You will need to have excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines and company targets.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel, and Powerpoint and relevant use of design programs is desirable.
