Based in our New Plymouth depot, you will be required to provide on-site monitoring of construction and maintenance activities ensuring quality and Health & Safety aspects are delivered to the client’s requirements. You will also be tasked with managing financial elements such as procurement, deliveries, and subcontractor presence.
- Ensuring efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
- Develop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the public
- Communicate important information to the contracting team and any work changes to the project manager

This role is primarily to support the TDF project however at times will be expected to assist other internal departments where required.

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**

To be successful in this challenging yet rewarding role, you will have sound knowledge of quality and H&S ideologies within a civil construction/maintenance environment. You’ll hold a tertiary qualification or the equivalent in engineering. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills will serve you well in this role.

In addition, you will also have:

- Strong problem-solving skills
- A full driver’s licence
- The ability to drive projects, managing relationships and activity to achieve targets
- Relationship management skills to help with clients and public stakeholder relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
