Microbiology is a 24/7 laboratory and you will be required to participate in a roster which covers three shifts: 0730 - 1600; 1530 - 0000; and 2300 - 0730.

As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- **NZ Registered Medical Laboratory Scientist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate**:

- **Minimum 2 years practical experience within the speciality is required**:

- **Good communication skills and a strong knowledge of analytical and quality processes**:

- **Must have an attention to detail with a strong focus on quality together with a can-do attitude to work in a fast-paced and busy environment**
