We require an experienced Sawmill Headrig Operator to work in our modern sawmill.

The position involves operating the Headrig and edger on a daily basis ensuring logs and timber are processed in a timely fashion to specification. They will also be the backup operator for the debarker and resaw.

This is a fulltime position based in Rolleston working four days per week (Monday - Thursday 6.00am - 5.00pm).

Your own transport is essential due to location and hours of work.

A successful applicant will;
- have between two & five years’ experience as sawmill headrig operator),
- be physically fit,
- work well in a team environment,
- have an excellent work history,
- have good communication skills (written and verbal),
- be reliable, self-motivated & enthusiastic,
- pass a pre-employment drug test, and
- be a New Zealand Citizen or hold a New Zealand Resident Visa.
