**Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for enthusiastic and proactive people with public sector knowledge and excellent relationship management skills to join our Parliamentary and Ministerial Engagement team. These roles are full-time, based primarily in our office

**Korero mo te turanga | About the role**
No two days are the same You will work within a small, close-knit team to draft responses to Ministerial correspondence, Parliamentary questions, requests for official information, as well as advise on other Ministerial and Parliamentary products. You will also have the opportunity to lead different projects and to make the role your own.

As a key liaison between the Ministry and the Ministers' Office, your exceptional relationship management skills will be pivotal in ensuring clarity of information requirements and the timely delivery of high-quality advice and products. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in a dynamic environment where your work can have a real impact.

A focus on quality writing and political nous are critical components as is the ability to work to tight deadlines and work collaboratively within the team and wider organisation.

- Great relationship management skills, with the ability to influence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of the Official Information Act and parliamentary processes
- Previous public sector experience (or equivalent experience)
- Passion for continuous improvement and asking how we can do things better.
- Commitment to developing your cultural capability in te ao Maori.
