**Mō te tūnga | About the role**
Our Safety & Wellbeing Team in Lower North are now recruiting for a Rehabilitation Adviser to support the teams in the region. Alongside our third party provider, you will the first point of contact for all matters regarding injury management and rehabilitation for our staff.
This is a true stakeholder advisory opportunity working closely with and supporting our managers and HR colleagues, in conjunction with third party providers and medical professionals, to enable early intervention in the rehabilitation of injuries or illness, and to ensure that our employees are effectively supported in their return to work from injury or illness.
**Ngā pūkenga e kimi ana mātou | Skills we look for**
- Experience of supporting and/or managing wellbeing, health and/or safety in a complex and high-risk safety sensitive environment;
- Experience in the development, preparation and monitoring of service delivery performance measures and reporting against these;
- Knowledge of injury and illness management and the ACC Accredited Employer Partnership Programme, including the standards required for audit of the programme;
- Strong communication skills including proven effectiveness as an influencer and adviser;
- Ability to handle sensitive information in strict confidence; and
**Utu ā-tau | Salary**
The mid point of the salary range is $89,210. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
