Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are looking for motivated, reliable and professional individuals looking to join our team of 15,000 and our Workforce Management (WFM) Team in the role of Workforce Coordinator.
Workforce Management (WFM) is a critical enabler in the delivery of services, or in an organisation like NZ Police, deployment of our most important resource - our people. A high-performing WFM function will keep our people safe, reduce risk, ensure we meet demand, manage our financial liability around leave management, and be great to work with.
The role of the WFM Coordinator is an important role within WFM teams. The WFM Coordinators are responsible for information gathering, responding to queries, updating rosters, planning for abstractions, entering data, making system changes and communicating with different members of police. The role works as part of a team supported by senior and experience colleagues. Full training will be provided and no WFM experience is necessary - a good mindset, awesome coordination skills, great communication, and a desire to learn are key
No two days are the same in Police. WFM Supports our operational team to deliver the services New Zealanders expect and deserve. This role could provide a motivated person with great exposure to NZ Police and set the foundation for a career as a Constabulary member, or a springboard for other opportunities to learn and develop within WFM, or wider People Services teams (HR Advisory, HR Service Hub, Payroll, Recruitment)
**Key Accountabilities**:
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) to develop reports and documents
Excellent time management, communication skills and team work.
Adaptable to change and re-prioritisation of tasks
Working collaboratively to achieve KPI’s
Be motivated, energetic and self-driven
Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines
Experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce planning and WFM are desired but not essential.
