**About the opportunity**

Reporting to the GM IT Programme and Performance, this newly created PM/Scrum Chapter Lead role will focus clearly on our future, driving efficiency, flexibility and velocity, enabled through our people, data and processes.

Responsible for managing a large team of project managers, ensuring that they are working in unison and delivering the basics to the highest level, we are looking for someone who is comfortable working through others to achieve excellence, is data led and constantly looking at ideas and areas for improvement.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be providing hands-on coaching and development while creating a safe environment for your team to continue to grow. You will collaborate with other leaders and SME's to innovate and optimize across teams, while also having the opportunity to be hands on and contribute to delivering solutions.

The PM/Scrum Chapter lead will be responsible for leading a high performing team, ensuring clear ways of working, while utilising best in class delivery methods and development of our people.

Other key responsibilities will include:

- Growing and developing this chapter through coaching and mentoring
- Leading through effective planning within the Chapter to ensure this team and its members are comfortable navigating change while building skills/competencies to position them for the future
- Providing thought guidance around the best use of various tools, methodologies and processes
- Driving a high level of engagement and participation through Chapter ceremonies and digital ways of working

**About you**
You will have proven excellence in people leadership, with your collaborative style focused on growth and development of the people and teams you engage with. Comfortable leading with a test and learn approach, you have no hesitancy in occasionally rolling your sleeves up to ensure the fundamentals of project delivery are executed with ease and excellence.

We are looking for an outstanding communicator with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, who is able to operate at a strategic business partnering level and collaborate across multiple teams and functions.

Adjust, grow, learn and adapt - the experience you bring enables you to set the direction and establish pathways that drive consistency and quality, while adding real value to the business through the use of data and insights.

Other key attributes include:

- Extensive coaching and mentoring experience in an agile business environment
- Having the ability to plan and understand Business Goals and Direction to ensure we are focusing on the right things at the right time.
- Having the ability to support the business in driving KPIs and commercial outcomes by providing IT services that support these.
- Experience in managing internal customer relationships with the ability to quickly establish rapport and trust even in difficult situations.
- Financial management accountability and skills to help manage a significant IT budget.
