**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a SOC/NOC Service Analyst to join our Information Security team. This this role you will ensure the secure operation of the in-house computer systems, servers, and network connections. This includes checking server and firewall logs, scrutinising network traffic, establishing and updating virus scans, and troubleshooting.

You will also analyse and resolve security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate fashion and conduct user activity audits where required.

With proven analytical, problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills, you will be able to conduct research into IT security issues and products as required. Technically savvy, you will have the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. You will also bring:

- Experience in Tier 1 ISP or Bank (desired)
- Understanding of ArcSight SIEM, Clearpass, Forti Client, FortiGate, Aruba Wired and Wireless networking, IronPort, F5 (LTM, ASM), Palo Alto, Crowdstrike, Qualys vulnerability scanner
- Understanding of SDN
- Understanding of BGP and OSPF
- Understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network administration protocols.
- Familiarity with Linux, Mac OS/X and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with HPE IMC
- Familiarity with Azure Devops, Azure Cloud
- Understanding of O365 security
- Understanding of Python/Bash/Poweshell Scripting
