We are looking for an energetic and experienced **Inventory Controller** to join our Purchasing Team. This is a full-time, permanent position working in Mt Wellington, Auckland.
This role will be responsible for assisting in the development of process controls to maximise inventory management, maintaining the GAP management process, investigating stock discrepancies and assisting with the implementation of stock takes and stock take procedures. You will be accountable across delivering excellent customer service, sales and profitability, operations, stock and people.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
- experience in Retail would be advantageous
- high degree of computer literacy and accurate data management
- ability to manage issues, maintaining open communications and a positive approach to resolution
- strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- strong organsiation and time management skill
- a quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and be flexible; and
- a strong customer service ethos.
