Downer Group is passionate about giving its staff the opportunity to grow and progress into roles within the organisation and due to internal movements, we are currently looking for two Accounts Receivable Officers (entry level roles) to join our Business Services Centre in Auckland. These positions are full-time permanent roles with hybrid working arrangements.

Our Accounts Receivable teams take pride in delivering quality services, turnarounds in recovery of trade debts along with accurate allocation of receivables. Servicing the business with detailed analysis and evaluation of credit risk reports, assisting with debt resolution, cash receipting, dispute handling, reconciliations and reporting.

**THE ROLE**

Working closely with the AR Team Leader, the role will have the following main responsibilities:

- Debtor management including credit checking, cash collection and dispute management
- Receipting of cash received against issued invoices and resolving any un-matched cash
- Managing billing function including raising invoices/credit notes, and processing claims
- Prepare AR related reports such as Aged TB, Debtor statement, and Unallocated Cash
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Actively engage in process improvement activities to streamline various processes within the Position
- Provide backup and support to other team members as workload fluctuates or leave is taken
- Escalate issues promptly

**ABOUT YOU**
- Accounts Receivable experience, encompassing fundamentals of receivables processes and its impact on the business
- Experience using large ERP
- Experience in Accounts Receivable/ Credit Management/ Debt Collections
- Excellent customer service - experience working in a Shared Services environment will be highly regarded
- Experience in Invoicing, Payment receipting, reconciliations and Month End Reporting
