A significant number of our workforce are located in the Manawatu at our Head Office & National Distribution Centre.
We are looking for energetic, reliable people who are committed to becoming valuable, productive members of our Distribution Centre team.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday only, with set / regular work hours.
As a storeperson you will be responsible for:
- Picking orders using a voice pick headset (full training given)
- Devanning of containers
- Packaging orders
- Forklift, ride on and reach truck operation (with respective licenses but not essential as training can be given)
In order to be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Exceptional time keeping skills
- Ability to build relationships with team members and other staff
- Confidence using technology (full training given)
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent work practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive can-do attitude
- Understanding of the importance of health and safety
- A strong attendance record
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to follow policies and procedures.
Having a reach truck licence would be an advantage, but not essential.
