**Position Overview**:
Humble Trading 2020 Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Courier Driver to join our team in Timaru. This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours per week, including a half-day on Saturdays. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a New Zealand Register Diploma (Level 4 or higher) in a related field.

**Job Duties**:

- Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver packages to designated locations on time.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and client interactions.
- Load and unload items into the delivery vehicle securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure it is kept in a clean and safe condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details or address issues.
- Handle packages with care, adhering to company guidelines and customer requirements.
- Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in courier services or a related field.
- Alternatively, a New Zealand Register Diploma at Level 4 or higher in a related discipline.
- Valid driver licence
- A valid and clean driver’s license suitable for operating the delivery vehicle.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical fitness to lift and move packages of varying sizes and weights.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.

**Hours of Work**:

- Full-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Includes a half-day shift on Saturdays.
