**Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role**:
The Student Support Advisor - Wellbeing is a full time permanent position. This rewarding role will provide support for students in their assigned portfolio and staff to enhance students’ learning experience and success.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $61,693 up to $63,646, dependent on skills and experience.

The Student Support Advisor - Wellbeing is based in our EIT | Te Pūkenga Gisborne campus, reporting to the Team Leader Student Support Services and will be responsible for:

- Providing support to students to enhance opportunities for success in tertiary study
- Contributing to the development and implementation of a strategy for Māori and Pacific student support
- Building networks within EIT | Te Pūkenga and the wider community that contribute to students’ learning experience and success.
- Developing and contributing to pastoral care networks for students and referring students to these networks as appropriate

**He kōrero mōu| About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable
- At least 2 years’ experience in providing support to students in their focus group, in the tertiary education environment (desirable)
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility
