**Job Description**:
Reporting into our Drilling & Interventions Manager this role is never short of a few things: Laughter, fun, and of course drilling operations

As the Drilling Logistics Coordinator you’ll be involved in the thick of it A snapshot of a typical day will look like:

- Coordinating contractors to meet critical project deadlines, and completion of drilling and intervention operational activities.
- Manage procurement of materials and consumables required for drilling & Intervention work.
- Control distribution of Contact’s tools, materials, and assets to the drilling and intervention projects.
- Manage storage of materials and consumables at both third party and Contact locations.
- Carry out regular stock checks of materials, consumables, and assets.
- Manage and maintain suitable stock levels of casings, well head components and other consumables.
- Maintain an asset register for all Contact owned equipment used in intervention and drilling operations and keep a track of its whereabouts

This is an important role, being the glue to make sure the team has the tools they need to keep powering Aotearoa

- Skilled at effectively communicating complex or technical ideas and issues to others
- Eagerness to expand own skills and knowledge base.
- A high degree of motivation, integrity and professional standards.

**_ 5+ years drilling industry experience in the following:_**
- Familiarity with drilling tools, casing and valve manufacturing and specifications
- Reliable knowledge of drilling practices, equipment and international tool manufacturers
- Experience working on Rimbase software and other similar industry software to record daily drilling parameters and reports.
- Experience working on or around large drilling rigs
- Knowledge of machine shop techniques for equipment repairs, Incoterms, customs regulations and
- Knowledge of API standards for drilling, tools, casing and valves
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of drilling operations and preparation of drilling projects.
