**Assistant Produce Manager - Full time**

New World Durham Street is Christchurch’s next-level supermarket experience, offering the latest in supermarket design and features, and we are proudly locally owned and operated We are looking for a dedicated and passionate person with relevant experience to help lead the daily running of our stand-out produce department

Working alongside our Produce Manager, you will be helping to run a produce department that has firmly established itself as the go-to destination in Christchurch when it comes to quality, freshness, presentation, and staff expertise.

**Days and Hours**:Tuesday - 9.00am-6pm, Wednesday - 9.00am-6pm, Thursday 9.00am-6pm, Friday - 9.00am-6pm, Saturday - 5am-2.30pm

**Key responsibilities**:

- Procurement of stock
- Ensure the shop is presented to a very high standard at all times
- Utilise SAP to its full capabilities to ensure stock flows smoothly from chiller to shelf
- Ensure and manage a fresh offering via effective filling and stock rotation
- Ensure your team is providing next-level customer service
- Create a positive environment for your team with opportunities for development & growth
- Sole charge in the absence of the manager
