**_The role/Te mahi_**
This Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor role represents an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to ongoing teaching of dental students while being well supported by a collegial and dynamic Faculty and University.
Key tasks for this position include:
- Conducting research-informed teaching across a range of courses in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Bachelor of Oral Health, Master of Community Dentistry and Doctor of Clinical Dentistry programmes;
- Contributing to curriculum design for undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research;
- Undertaking research resulting in quality-assured publications within the discipline, either individually or as part of a group; and
- Contributing to the running of the Department, School, Division and the University.

- A record of internationally peer-reviewed published research;
- Excellent teaching skills at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- A collaborative and collegial approach to work; and
- Full understanding of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and the University’s Māori Strategic Framework.

This is a permanent (confirmation path), full-time (1.0 FTE) position.
Salary range for this position is: Senior Lecturer $131,298 to $172,274 or Associate Professor $175,688 to $191,052.
