Design Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Coordinator to join our team based in Auckland. In this busy and varied role, you’ll be providing financial and administration support to our Design Team in the Contracting business.

**The role**
Reporting to the Delivery Manager
- Design Estimation and Gas Works, you’ll be responsible for providing quality support services for the Design Engineering & Capital Projects Team in line with Northpower, Vector and Customer expectations, in full compliance with all relevant processes and procedures, HSQE requirements and regulatory standards while contributing to the overall business success.

Based in Auckland, you will also:

- Assist the team with preparation of documentation as required
- Check and confirm that data has been uploaded into Siebel in order to compile invoicing lists
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and client representatives
- Support the team preparing monthly meetings, reports, purchase orders

You’ll be comfortable liaising with multiple people and departments and be an efficient process oriented professional. This is a busy role, and no two days will be the same, thus it goes without saying that you’ll be friendly and resilient.

You’ll bring your excellent collaboration skills to the fore as daily communication and liaising with the team will be a big aspect of this role. Your right attitude, mindset, and willingness to learn will carry weight for success.

We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:

- Previous experience working in a similar support or client/customer facing role
- Qualification in business support will be advantageous
- High Attention to detail with accuracy and quality output are essential
- Solid Time management & organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet targets and deadlines will be crucial
- Strong communicator ( verbal and written) with natural ability to manage and develop relations well
- Competent computer user in MS office with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint
- Being mindful on safety with quality standards at all times; be a safety champion for yourself, your workmates, clients, public, network and the environment
- A team player with a great ‘can do’ attitude and also able to work self-directed
- Ability to be flexible when required
