This is a senior technical role developing end-to-end analytical solutions to complex business problems and providing technical leadership to improve and maintain the organisation's analytical capability. Working closely with stakeholders you are responsible for planning and developing end-to-end analytical solutions using up-to-date best practices and technical standards.

About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

You would have at least 10 years (with 4+ years in a senior role) of BI/Analytics and data warehouse-related experience delivering large-scale enterprise BI and Analytical solutions. You have proven experience with technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping, methodology development, and data modelling. Extensive knowledge of analytical tools and methodologies, including documenting, designing, creating and deploying reports, dashboards and models. You would have experience with BI reporting principles and methods and experience writing data warehouse designs.

Establish and embed technical standards and best practices across reporting technologies.

Provide deep technical expertise and understanding of analytical environments

Research, review, and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing solutions and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging them

Design databases, data warehouses and other data storage devices to ensure interoperability between all Enterprise Information systems

About You | Mōu

Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale enterprise BI and Analytic solutions

Strong knowledge of Power BI tools and methodologies, including designing, creating and deploying reports, dashboards and models.

Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles and practices

Solid knowledge of MS SSAS and SSIS

Experience mentoring more Junior members of the team.

Excellent communication skills.
