**About the Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a BI Developer to join us on the journey - reporting to the BI Architect, you will be joining an engaged, supportive, diverse workforce of global professionals based in our custom-built 5 Star Green rated building in central Christchurch. The BI Developer will be involved in driving the Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence initiatives across KMDBrands, being a key point of contact for stakeholders in the business.

This is a 1-year Fixed Term Contract.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. SSIS and Azure Data Factory)
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy and Power BI)
- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation

**What we are looking for**:

- Skill in data management disciplines, including data integration, modelling, optimisation, and quality
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders across departments and geographic locations
- Examples of when you assisted with the implementation of data solutions like Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Data Integration, Governance and Metadata Management
- A High level of SQL knowledge is essential, and experience with other scripting using languages can be advantageous.
