As the head of a highly competent team, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for overseeing the seamless planning, development, and maintenance of our road infrastructure unit. With a road network spanning over 1500km and a road asset portfolio exceeding $750m, this role is crucial in supporting the organization's operational goals and enhancing road safety and quality. Your primary accountability will be to ensure the successful operational delivery of our roadwork program and of contractor performance.

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate leadership experience in the civil trade, ideally supported by a civil engineering qualification or a related field. Strong capabilities in leadership and project management are vital for the effective supervision of our roadwork initiatives and contractor performance. The ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and agencies, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices and regulatory standards, is of paramount importance.
