Not one day will be the same, whether identifying capable staff for certain response roles, building or facilitating a training, support the development and execution of exercises for our key stakeholders, supporting peers with surveys, debriefs and lessons collation for a recent response or actively being involved in a response.
This agile role works across response capability, continuous improvement and response fields of expertise and will constantly challenge you and keep your interest peaked.
You will work closely with our Response Group, Human Resources Team and Learning and Development Team to ensure that all projects, activities and processes are developed in consultation with the business, and are fit for purpose - actively leading and delivering the allocated work programme. Really, it's about ensuring the best potential solutions are analysed and developed to meet our future response capability needs.

- Project management skills, including experience in leading work and achieving outcomes in situations where there are diverse interests.
- At least 5 years experience in a relevant profession (e.g. Learning and Development, Capability or Exercising).
- A proven ability to deliver quality advice, guidance and material on time.
- Experience in workshop facilitation.
**It would be beneficial if you bring**:
- Experience in a response environment and/or the Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS) framework.
- Experience in continuous improvement activities.

This team's mandate spans the entirety of MPI's Biosecurity directorate - they are our customers - ensuring biosecurity systems are supported to build and maintain their response capability, and are prepared for whatever the threat or response may require.
