**Job Description**:
The role requires:

- Carry out valve refurbishments & overhauls or related work as requested in line with the QMS, customer requirements and given priorities.
- Adhere to all safe working practices, look after yourself and those around you.
- Document all work done on the appropriate worksheets and complete a timesheet on a daily basis.
- Understand and adhere to the QMS. Communicate any breaches of the system to a supervisor or manager.
- Actively seek opportunities to expand your valve repair knowledge base.
- Take an active part in any training opportunity and provide training to staff as reasonably requested.
- Utilize resources efficiently and maintain a high level of house-keeping.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and make appropriate recommendations for improvement to our operational and quality systems.
- Continuously seek the most efficient way to carry out job responsibilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Keen interest in engineering with a minimum of 3 years industry experience
- Has a Customer Service focus
- Has an organized and efficient approach
- Has a Positive Achievement orientation
- Flexibility and be able to think on one’s feet

**Required Skills**:

- Computer literacy - Above average computer skills, particularly in Excel.
- Teamwork - Ability to work effectively and productively with others.
- Initiative - Ability to initiate action without being prompted to do so.
- Communication - Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) with fluency in English and interpersonal skills.
- Safety Conscious - Proactively consider safety requirements when completing all tasks.
- Personal Motivation - Being proactive in the completion of all tasks without constant supervision, including apprenticeship assignments.
- Mechanically Minded - Demonstrates an aptitude towards mechanical based work.
- Physically Capable - Ability to complete the physical demands of the role e.g. lifting, moving valves, working at heights, walking distances etc.
- A current, clean New Zealand drivers licence, that is commensurate with your age.
