Reporting to the Head of Processing, this pivotal role takes overall accountability for maximising the performance and profitability of all departments at ANZCO Foods Canterbury.

ANZCO Foods Canterbury is our largest and most diverse processing site, handling multiple species including responsibility for our coldstore. As the region's largest employer, we are proud of our strong community ties and long-standing partnerships with local organisations across Ashburton.

As Site Manager, you will:

  • Lead, motivate, and empower a diverse and capable team to deliver operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute business strategies that strengthen ANZCO Foods Canterbury's position while driving success.
  • Champion best practice in processing, quality, and efficiency while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
  • Foster a culture where people are valued, safety is a key focus, and continuous improvement is part of everyday operations.
  • Achieve key performance outcomes across safety, productivity, quality, service, and cost management.
  • Oversee site-based capital expenditure, ensuring investment supports capability, growth, and innovation.
  • Build and maintain positive on-site union relationships.

You're an agile and proven senior leader with extensive experience within Processing who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.
