We are looking for a suitably qualified Environmental Manager to lead across the site the environmental initiatives and ensure all manufacturing practises are sustainably sound and meeting all environmental compliance requirements.

While the role reports to and works closely with the Site Operations Manager you will also have working relationships across the entire site. You will work with the senior executive team as required and may represent the company within wider industry context. Your success will rest on your ability to utilise your relationship building, leadership, guiding, and influencing skills.

This is a role for a highly motivated person with well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compliance solutions while at the same time working closely with those ‘trying to get the job done.’
- Experience gained from within the Primary, Agri, Food sectors
- Environmental hands-on experience preferably in a food production plant
- Water, wastewater management
- Compliance, auditing and regulatory consent knowledge
- Understanding programme management incl. risk management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Articulate communicator to internal and external stakeholder groups
- Relationship management, with a wide range of stakeholders incl. regulatory and local bodies
- Influencer, a good collaborator with the ability to influence outcomes
- A relevant tertiary qualification or experience is asked for
