We are representing a reputable construction outfit that are experiencing exceptional growth. They are well-established with a strong reputation in the Civil industry. As they continue to grow, they are looking for skilled Drain Layers to join their team in Tauranga.

**Job Description**:
As a Drain Layer you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of underground drainage systems. Your responsibilities will include:

- Excavating and preparing sites for drainage installations.
- Installing and repairing drainage pipes, sewer lines, and stormwater systems.
- Backfilling and compacting trenches to ensure proper drainage system stability.
- Operating heavy equipment and machinery such as backhoes, excavators, and trenchers.
- Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Proven experience as a Drain Layer in a similar role.
- Certificate In drain laying.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and machinery.
- Familiarity with drainage system design and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the construction industry.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
