We have an opportunity for a Tractor Driver General to join our team on Freestone Farm.

If you’re a capable tractor operator and enjoy variety in your work and a role where you get to turn your hand to most things on the farm, this could be the role for you.

The role involves tractor work, feeding out, general farm maintenance work, repair fencing, and some water maintenance. The role also involves assisting staff with stock work in yards when required. Dogs are not required.

Close to Manapouri and Te Anau, Freestone is a 817 ha property running 5000 su comprising sheep, beef and deer. Freestone’s focus is the Freestone Romney breeding program and the Wapiti Deer terminal sire breeding program along with supporting stock.

If you have broad farm experience, you’re mechanically minded, can self-manage your time, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and you’re a clear communicator, we’d like to hear from you. It’s also important you have a positive attitude to health and safety and you’ll need to have a current NZ drivers licence.
