**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Project Work and Development; Repairs and Maintenance including:

- Studying drawings, specifications & work sites to determine materials required.
- Use & operating safe access equipment including ladders, scaffold and elevated work platforms.
- Preparation of roofing, concrete & other construction surfaces.
- Application of paints, sealants, grouts and other coatings to industry standards.
- Application & fixing of finishing coats and membranes to industry standards to form waterproof surfaces.
- Accurate recording of work done for quality assurance and time recording.
- To assist the company in providing service skills whenever required in undertaking a project or acting in the best interests of the Employer.
- Provision of Support: To assist clients who require support. This will consist mainly of fault finding and remedial repair work in a wide range of situations.
- On Call Support: to provide out of hours support for when required. This necessitates taking ownership of each problem as it arises or until it is passed on.
- Other Duties and Responsibilities: Teamwork is essential to the continued expansion of the business. As such it is imperative that each member of the team is prepared to work outside of his / her responsibilities as is required by the company.

Skills and experience required:

- 2 years relevant experience in waterproofing
- Be a driven individual, as well as a team player
- Have a strong work ethic
- Have a positive can-do attitude and go the extra mile
- Be a keen learner and interested in developing your career in construction
- Be a reliable and honest individual
- Prior experience in the membrane roofing industry is preferred
- Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
