We are currently looking for an inspirational individual to lead our Children's Education Centre. Suiting a hands-on leader who doesn't want to be stuck behind a desk, we need you to tap into your inner child and connect with our children and their whanau. Being based in a campus environment is what makes this role unique, there is support with wrap around services to help you keep the Centre running freeing you up to show case your business savvy and influence to grow our enrolment numbers. We have a strong focus on supporting our local community as well as our MIT students, lecturers and support staff who work at MIT who can access to our Centre along with our ECE students who gain valuable practical experience. Reporting to the Head of Student Experience and Success, this pivotal position requires a leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, diplomacy and cultural competence. This role will work closely with the Team Leader and relevant external agencies to implement a Child Centred approach to learning as well as working on the development of the whole team. A collaborative inclusive leadership style will inspire the team to support fresh ideas, have input and get behind your vision for the Centre. **The successful applicant will bring**: - Ideally 5-7 years leadership experience. - Strong business acumen with evidence of growth strategy and financial management - A qualification in Early Childhood Education - Relevant post graduate qualification is also preferred with a clean criminal record and NZ Residency.
