This role sits within our Event Partnerships & Development team and plays a key part in ensuring activities on public land follow the right steps, meet legal obligations, and are delivered safely and professionally. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working within structured frameworks, can spot risks early, and takes pride in getting the details right.

**Key tasks**:

- Providing regulatory guidance and documentation reviews (including health & safety and risk assessments).
- Liaising across a broad range of internal departments and external agencies to support the permitting process.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring database updates, notifications, and documentation are completed in a timely and professional manner.

**About you**:

- Proven experience in administrative, regulatory or project coordination roles.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation and process.
- Effective communication skills, particularly when dealing with external applicants and internal technical experts.
- A calm, solutions-focused mindset when working with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.

This is not an events production role. The focus is on ensuring compliance and supporting the smooth delivery of regulatory processes associated with events and filming on Council land.

- Hours of work: Mon - Friday
- Position: Full-time, permanent
- Location: This position is primarily based at Te Hononga Civic Office, 53 Hereford Street.
- Salary: The salary band for this position goes from $81,227 to $90,252 per annum based on a 40 hour week.
