**We require a Saturday and Sunday part-time worker.**

**This position would ideally suit a school student looking for part-time weekend work.**

We are looking for the right person to join our awesome sales team at Bakers Delight Gate Pa. We bake everything fresh every day from scratch so you need to be passionate about food and delivering excellent customer service

**All applicants need to be very flexible with hours and available to work both days on the weekends.**

**This position would suit a school student looking for part time weekend work.**

**For this role we require someone to work 7 hours per day which would be 10am until 5:30 pm on Saturdays and 9am to 4:30 pm on Sundays. With the opportunity for afternoon shifts as well after school if required and of course opportunity to work extra during school holidays.**

For this role, you need to have great communication skills. To be able to recognize great sales techniques and not be afraid to put them into practice with every shift. Have great motivation and accuracy.

The position requires a trustworthy, fast-learning person to join our team.
With a great work ethic and the ability to be a real team player as we are such a small team, we become more like family instead of work colleagues.

The majority of this role is selling fresh, preservative-free bread, sweet and savoury products, great range of artisan bread and scones.

**Key activities are**:

- Greet customers with a smile, a warm greeting, and a positive attitude
- Offer customer reward cards to encourage customers to return
- Offer tastings to introduce customers to different products
- Upsell bakery products to customers
- Listen to, interact with, and build rapport with customers
- Complete the transaction using the tablet to record sales
- Discuss promotional products with customers
- Communicate customer feedback to Bakery Team and Management
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain knowledge of new products
- To maintain a clean environment
- To merchandise the bakery to look attractive and inviting
- Follow all instructions from the Sales Manager

**Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications**

Sales experience is preferred but not required, all training is provided on the job.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 14 per week

**Salary**: $21.20 - $23.00 per hour
