Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We have a position available for a Triage Community Mental Health Nurses in (MHSOP). While this position is Hamilton based, it is part of the wider Mental Health Service for Older People team. You will have strong collegial and clinical support from the multidisciplinary team. As part of the role you will ideally be required to undertake the responsibilities of a duly authorised officer (DAO).

Mōu | About you
Required skills & experience you will need to be consider for this role:

- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- at least 3 years' experience in mental health nursing with experience in mental health services for older persons being desirable
- passionate to work with clients who have behavioural and psychological symptoms associated with dementia
- a current annual practicing certificate
- a current driver licence
- the ability to work both independently of, and collaboratively with other members of the team, the wider team and community services.
