Position**:Blending Supervisor**

Based in the Blending Department

**Objective of this Position**:
The primary purpose of quality control and plant testing programs is to assure:

- that the final beverage meets prescribed standards
- that the Blends testing equipment are functioning properly
- that syrup is prepared correctly
- that all ingredients used in preparing syrup and final beverage are correctly treated, handled, stored and within standards

Such programs must be rigorously followed on a day-to-day basis to assure a consistently high quality product.

Every single bottle or can of beverage leaving the plant should be as near perfect as possible. No operation can be a success, regardless of how much money is spent on advertising or merchandising, unless the product on the market leaves a favorable impression with the consumers. They must have the desire to purchase the product again.

A high quality product is necessary in order to assure repeat sales, and a high quality product is operationally defined as the product design.

Quality control programs begin with the establishment of test protocols (including frequency of sampling and proper testing equipment) followed by training of personnel. Once established, testing programs must be followed faithfully.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand and Implement high standard of food safety,GMP,SOP,personnel hygiene standard
- Monitoring of the standard and specification.
- Pre-Operative Check for shift
- Maintaining records of the orders ,CIP and blends within quality specifications
- Carrying out pre-production chemical and microbiological sampling tests
- Performing Quality Assurance tests and their reporting as per Company requirements
- Product Quality Parameters testing against Specification and reporting
- Comparison of all products to written specifications and organoleptic acceptability
- Production packaging quality testing and reporting, reporting of defects
- Control drink sample program maintenance
- Sampling according to Quality Control Points Schedule (see below)
- Thorough knowledge of Critical Control Points Schedule (see below)
- Housekeeping requirements as per Cleaning Manuals.
- Hygiene and Safety standards as per Staff Handbook.
- All other quality control testing, products in process, finished goods as outlined in Quality Manuals.
- Carrying out the test related to production run.
- Staging, blending and controlling of ingredient
- Control drink preparation
- Control drink adjustments
- Issue HOLD tags during prdtn for all OOS products
- Clean lab
- Fill in for any absent blending team member.
- Attend to other duties outlined by QM as required
- CIP
- Daily calibrations
- COP
- In charge of cleaning of the blending dept
- Training the blenders
- Delicate works to the blenders to run the production efficiently
- Work together with the production manager to organize the cleaning
- Organize sampling and sample pick in effective manner
- Raise job request as required for the blending dept
- To see the operation is carried out as per the GMP, SOP standard and specification.
- Over roll in charge of the blending ,CIP,Training blenders
- WB plan prep
- Good written and verbal language skills.
- Accurate recording of results.
- Ordering raw material
- FIFO
- Liaising with customers
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Responsibility for all product quality control.
- Reliability.
- Some instructions to Production Staff regarding quality issues
- Maintaining the Laboratory Calibration Schedule
- CIP of waterline, sugar and water tanks

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
