**Job Description**:
Part of NPDL, Container Repairs and Sales (CRS) provides full empty container services including storage, repairs, sales and leasing. Due to an internal promotion, we are now looking for a **Labourer/Repairer** to join our team.

**The Role**:
Whether you have a wealth of experience behind you or are interested in learning new things and developing your skills, we want to hear from you In this role, you will be steam-cleaning, painting, sweeping out containers and completing basic repairs to ensure shipping containers meet specific industry standards. You will also need to assist with general jobs around the yard, including weeding/weed spraying and general cleaning. Training will be provided. We are all team players who like to get stuck in, however, these roles have the potential to develop into various other roles within the depot such as more complex repairing.

**Qualifications**:
We need someone who is safety conscious, with an ability to follow standard procedures. Whilst experience in a port or container yard may be considererd an advantage, it will be your strong work ethic, positive attitude and drive to succeed that will stand you out from the crowd

You will need to pass Ministry of Justice, ACC checks and a drug and alcohol test as part of our recruitment process.

Additional Information
**Hours of Work**:
A minimum of 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am to 4.00pm. Flexibility to work overtime to meet operational requirements may be required - great overtime rates offered
