**ABOUT THE ROLE**
**Position**:Trainee Reefer Technician
Industry specific technical training will be provided including an Electrical Service Technician (EST) Licence to ensure you are skilled and experienced in your role. Expertise in shipping container refrigeration can have you working at any Port anywhere in the world
**Location**:Tauranga
**Duties**
We are looking for keen individuals to support and assist our team in carrying out repairs, service and maintenance on refrigerated shipping container machinery. Once electrically competent there is an opportunity for inclusion in the after-hours breakdown roster which offers you a company vehicle and pay increase
**Hours**
This is a full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week. Whilst the logistics environment is dynamic; hours are typically worked between **7.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday and Saturday 7.00am - 12.00pm.**

You will have a passion or interest in refrigeration and electrical systems, be a good communicator and have a “can do” attitude. You will thrive in a team environment and gain confidence and efficiency through your inquisitive nature and desire to contribute.
