**About the role**

We are expanding our sales teams in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch to maximise market share and strengthen customer relationships.

As a Construction Equipment Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for driving sales across the Wellington region. You’ll play a key role in growing our market presence by actively engaging with new and existing customers, developing strong relationships, and providing expert product knowledge and support.

This role will be performed remotely and work autonomously, however you will have administrative and technical support from our Masterton Dealership along with comprehensive support from our large NZ sales network.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Full ownership of the sales process, from new customer prospecting to existing customer account management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry.
- Actively manage a sales pipeline via a CRM to achieve sales revenue and market share targets.
- Provide accurate quotes, manage sales contracts, and oversee product delivery and installations.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to leverage opportunities for competitive advantage.

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Proven experience in construction equipment sales or related capital equipment sales.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and local market conditions.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results.
- Solid computer skills with the ability to learn new CRM systems quickly.
