Mechanical Fitters

We are expanding our mechanical maintenance team working on industrial, hydropower and geothermal projects.
As a Mechanical Fitter with us, you’ll enjoy getting out to a variety of client sites, working with a close-knit team and taking pride in a job well done.

**You**:
Our team are motivated and pull together to get their mahi done on time, or early, to impress our clients. You’ll fit right in if you offer:
A trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting & Turning, Maintenance and Diagnostics or a comparable trade
Machinery/plant maintenance experience
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safe working practices and quality procedures
Flexibility to work extended and flexible hours as and when required - including periodic work outside of Taupo

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will be part of an experienced team working on the overhaul of geothermal and hydro turbines and you’ll be involved with:
Plant outages and shuts, annual maintenance and overhauls for power stations
Turbines, heavy rotating equipment, cranage, valves, pumps, fans, heat exchangers etc.
