**Job Duties**:

- Surface Preparation: Prepare various surfaces (walls, ceilings, woodwork, etc.) for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and ensuring surfaces are smooth and free of imperfections.
- Decorative Techniques: Utilise decorative techniques such as faux finishes, stencilling, and wallpapering to enhance the aesthetic appeal of interiors and exteriors.
- Surface Protection: Protect surrounding areas and furnishings from paint splatter and damage during the painting process, utilising drop cloths, tape, and other protective measures.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, including proper adhesion, smoothness, and uniformity of colour and texture.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others, including proper handling and disposal of paint materials.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools regularly to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

**Prerequites**:

- No specific experience or certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, with a portfolio demonstrating your skills and craftsmanship prefered.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools are desired.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require standing, bending, and lifting.
- Commitment to safety practices and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation may be required.
