Key Responsibilities - Ensure consistent and competent delivery of the New Zealand curriculum. - Implement the school’s vision, focusing on student achievement and engagement. - Promote self-directed learning and share knowledge on modern teaching practices. - Assist in analysing student data to identify strengths and areas for development. - Provide feedback to students to improve their performance and maintain regular progress reports. - Ensure school policies are correctly implemented. Experience, Skills and Competencies - New Zealand registered Teacher with experience across Year 3 to 6. - Knowledge of modern learning environments and techniques. - Clear communication and effective listening. - Ability to liaise with parents, staff, pupils, and the wider community. - Strong planning, assessment, and record-keeping skills. - Proficient in using most mainstream software programmes - A desire for continuous improvement.
