Firstlight Network has joined the Firstgas Group whānau this month, and we're excited to be recruiting for a _Senior HRBP_ to support this team in Gisborne and our wider business across Aotearoa.
This role provides you with the opportunity to use all of your HR toolkit and expertise to make a real difference in our business. As well as partnering with GMs and their leaders on ‘all things people’ to enable them to successfully deliver on their business plans you will also lead on/contribute to key People & Culture (P&C) projects and programmes that support the delivery of our strategy.
As a member of the People, Safety and Sustainability (PSS) Leadership Team you will contribute to the development and delivery of our PSS strategy, business plans and culture, ensuring that what we deliver is fit for purpose, best practice and meets our stakeholders needs.

- A proven track record of being a trusted senior advisor who can successfully partner with and coach leaders to achieve great people results/outcomes.
- A collaborative and inclusive style, you are able to use your outstanding communication, influencing and relationship management skills to get the buy in and engagement of others at all levels across the business, to ensure that our P&C strategies and programmes are successful.
- Be commercially astute and skilled at using metrics and providing analysis and recommendations that support our leaders to make good decisions.
- A deep understanding of and experience in all areas of HR preferably with specialist expertise in employment relations, recruitment and/or organisational development.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in HR or a relevant business-related discipline.
