Kōrero mō te tūranga ' About the role
The Service Administrator provides a timely, professional and high quality administrative service to the Operations Manager, and the PAS service as directed. Administration Services are responsible across all sites for the following:

- Outpatient Booking Centre, Call Centre and Atrium
- Outpatient Reception and Community
- Emergency Department and Radiology
- Ward Administration
- Medical typists and team supportMō tō mātou rōpū ' About our team

The Patient Administration Service (PAS) is an important clinical support service within the Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley District, providing administration services and support to all clinical services.
The development of this service is a key priority for the organisation as we move towards a more coordinated, efficient and effective administration service for the Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley District. We place importance on building strong relationships with Provider Services management and end users to ensure consistency of approach, efficiency and effectiveness to meet the needs of each directorate.
Our team also prides ourselves on building and maintaining a customer service culture throughout PAS.
Moū ' About you
We are looking for someone who has proven experience in a people-facing admin role and has a working knowledge of computer programs, specifically Microsoft Office products. You will be an effective problem-solver who is able to prioritise a busy workload, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge and/or experience working in a health environment is advantageous.
