A little bit about the roleWe're looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team in a permanent capacity. The role is based in our head office in Christchurch, The Solution Architect role is to design and lead the implementation of a Customer and Marketing Technology Solution Architecture based on the enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and requirements. The Solution Architect will:

- Ensure sound design and architecture processes are followed. Advising the business when required and utilising third parties to create capacity
- Design solutions across the group, creating and maintaining all aspects of a solution design with a focus on business engagement and documentation
- Guide and enable the business, partners, and technology teams to implement projects providing frameworks, solution designs and procedures as required
- Form part of the project delivery teams working closely with Project Managers, Systems Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to deliver projects successfully
- Lead & promote a positive and collaborative team culture, spanning the Technology group and wider business

What we are looking forYou will have formal qualification in IT and/or business-related experience combined with senior experience in change and/or release management. You will have demonstrated experience in a Technical Leadership role, with some engineering background with proven design & analysis experience in a large complex organisation, including stakeholder management. You will have experience in solution design, development and implementation. You will have experience in working in a structured project management framework, e.g., SCRUM or PMI and expertise and experience in working with 3 rd. party service providers. You will be collaborative with great partnering and communications skills.
