**The Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior React Developer to join our is Digital Platform team at Fidelity Life. The Senior React Developer is responsible for building and supporting software solutions to enable the business to meet its strategic and tactical objectives. This is a permanent role based in our Auckland CBD office with flexible working arrangements available.

As a Senior Developer you will be a part of a successful cross functional team, assisting with requirements analysis, providing estimates, developing codes, and contributing to validating the product built meets expected standards. You will contribute to technical designs, guide, mentor and support other developers to help and ensure good development standards, patterns and guidelines are followed within delivery teams.

Some other key accountabilities include:

- Contributing to the implementation of solutions that are well designed, maintainable scalable, testable, secure, and follow best practices and agreed standards
- Contributing to the development of software across the primary value streams as part of an
- Partnering with Technical Leads, Solution Designers/Architects to develop Technical Designs for solutions built by in-house and vendor teams.
- Creating, maintaining and monitoring and refactor unit tests and other automated tests.
- Understanding CI/CD pipelines to allow frequent delivery of well-formed and tested / testable code across various stages of the SDLC
- Keep up to date on new and relevant software development techniques, technologies, ways of working and related issues

**About You**

With demonstrated experience as a Software developer or Lead developer delivering large scale enterprise solutions using.Net and related technologies you will bring strong technical skills and hands-on experience developing with Microsoft cloud products and services. You are passionate about continually improving engineering practices and have a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders. You can manage multiple demands, enjoy the dynamics of a fast paced, fluid work environment. You are a confident communicator, that can inspire and influence your stakeholders and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can work on multiple work streams simultaneously, with good organizational and time management skills.

Together with this you will bring
- 5+ years’ experience on ReactJS and Typescript
- Experience with component based and Micro frontend development
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline
- Knowledge and experience on integration with Web socket (Microsoft SignalR)
- Unit test with Jest and story book
- Good knowledge of modern DevOps practices and experience enabling a continuous delivery model
- Passion for continually improving engineering practices and a continuous improvement mindset
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify and articulate risks, while proposing options to mitigate relevant risks
- Collaborative working style, yet be able to stand on your own two feet
- Tertiary qualified in relevant discipline
