**Driver/Sales (Service & Operations)**

**Role Purpose**:
To assist with the increase and profitability of the Branches by providing exceptional branch, customer and supplier services to all who you deal with directly or indirectly, with clear communication by completing delivery, transfer and pick up services which also can include receipting in or out of goods, including dispatching ordered stock effectively and efficiently.

**Key Relationships**

The Driver/Sales person is focused on providing exceptional service and sales to branches, customers and suppliers who require services from our staff. The Driver/ Sales person works closely with:

- Group Branch Operations
- Branch Operations Manager
- Branch Operational staff
- Sales Channel staff
- Clients (existing & potential)
- Suppliers (existing & potential)

**Key Objectives**:
The Driver/Sales person is responsible for:

- Completing effective and efficient services and transactions to branches, customers and suppliers accurately and without unreasonable delay.
- Receipting of deliveries and inwards/outwards goods in an accurate manner.
- Ensuring all customer orders are accurately picked and dispatched without delay.
- All duties must be carried out safely and in accordance with the companies Health and Safety policy all appropriate Health and safety laws.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- To keep a current and clean unrestricted drivers license at all times and to the relevant vehicle
- Make sure the vehicles are kept roadworthy and regularly maintained as required
- Customers and suppliers who are serviced are greeted, communicated too and proactively offered assistance without delay.
- All communication is answered without delay and with a friendly and positive manner. When Answer the telephone with the following: Good morning/afternoon, Redpaths Powerbase, (your name) speaking”
- Provides information, resolves problems and answers questions quickly and with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- All services and transactions are completed with branches, customers and suppliers effectively and efficiently with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Ensures all deliveries, orders, receipting and sales are logged into the relevant systems (Applications, Lentune, CRM, Office365, BambooHR etc) accurately and in a timely manner.

**Stock Co-ordination**:

- Ensures all stock and services are accurately delivered, packed/unpacked, picked, and dispatched to customers as requested and without delay.
- Assists with the return of all stock returns and errors to ensure correct or replacement stock is delivered to the branches, customers or suppliers without delay and as a matter of priority.
- Assists with inwards stock and ensure it is unpacked into the stock area in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensures all stock administration is undertaken in an accurate and timely manner including appropriate information entered into the Lentune system, i.e. bin location, stock counts and correct labelling.
- Ensures stock is maintained in a tidy and orderly format so that all stock items remain in saleable condition always.

**Branch Assistance**:

- To assist the branches with any additional so staff can provide support in the promotion of products when needed
- Ensures the vehicles, inwards and outwards stores are always kept clean, tidy and well-ordered at all times.
- Assists with all Branch activities where applicable.
- Attends and participates in Health & Safety and Branch meetings.
- Undertakes any other tasks as may be reasonably requested by the Branch Operations Manager.

- Customer Services & Sales - provides proactive and timely service to all branches, customers and suppliers in a manner that fosters the development of a close and long-term working relationship between all and Redpaths.
- Assist with Stock Co-ordination - ensures stock is accurately picked, packed and dispatched to branches, customer and suppliers
- Assists with Administration skills - accurately enters data into the Lentune system and ensures all stock and customer sales administration is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assists with Organization skills - effectively organizes and prioritizes workload so that all deadlines are met.
- Assists with Problem solving skills -assesses problems and works to resolve issue with consideration of immediate and wider impact on the business of Redpaths. Seeks assistance from the Manager if necessary.
- Ability to build relationships with peers, cross-functional counterparts, and upper management, branch managers, staff, clients and suppliers.
