**About the role**

Our Land Development team in Tauranga continues to grow, and we’re on the lookout for experienced Senior Civil Design Engineers who are keen to make an impact. If you're looking to lead major projects, bring your 12D design skills and project management expertise to the table, we'd love to hear from you.

We’ve got a strong pipeline of work across greenfield and brownfield residential developments, infrastructure, and commercial and industrial projects - each one shaping the future of our local communities. You will:

- Provide technical expertise, project management and 12d design solutions to deliver a range of complex civil engineering projects from initial concept design through to construction completion.
- Ensure efficient project delivery while being hands-on with preliminary designs, supervising detailed designs, calculations, plan and on-site investigations.
- Maintain existing client relationships and contribute towards business development initiatives such as identifying opportunities and writing proposals to enhance HG’s future project prospects.
- Guide and coach junior team members in an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

- Play a key role in shaping better urban development for a diverse range of public and private clients across Aotearoa.

**About you**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 6-8+ years of New Zealand-based experience within similar multi-disciplinary consultancy environments.
- Proven track record of leading land development and infrastructure projects from concept design through to construction.
- Proficiency in 12D design software.
- CPEng is an advantage or working towards chartership.
- Knowledge of local council codes, guidelines and consenting processes to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Personal leadership, motivation, and self-management skills.
