The RoleTRT is offering an excellent opportunity for you to be employed by our long-standing and successful company. If you have experience in warehousing and logistics, specifically in the heavy/automotive industry, and enjoy being part of a small team, then we want to hear from you
Responsibilities will include
- Efficient and effective management of inward and outwards goods
- Accurate physical counting and handling of inward and outwards goods
- Handling of daily orders, stock orders, returns for credit, inter-branch transfers
- Notify the Supervisor of any discrepancy to the incoming product; quantity, variance, quality deviations
- Accurate receipting of goods into our ERP system
- Stocktaking duties and stock locating
- Dispatch - Urgent customer sales, branch transfers and communication with transit companies
- Forklift duties
- Be able to complete transport documentation
- General housekeeping of the warehouse
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Be a positive ‘team player’ who also looks for ways to improve
- Customer service or warehouse experience (desirable).
- Take initiative and get things done
- Have a good level of accuracy
- Strong awareness of conducting all activities and tasks with safety in mind
- Be physically fit to move a range of parts daily
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Work in a team environment
- MS Office suite experience is preferred
- Be a results-driven team member and able to perform tasks independently
- Operate with honesty and integrity
- The ability to follow existing procedures and adapt to new procedures to ensure timely delivery of objectives
- Experience in a warehousing operation
- Enjoys working with a fun team
- Current NZ class 1 driver's license
- F endorsement and Forklift Operators Certificate would be an advantage
