This team shares a high level of camaraderie, so if you have a good sense of humour, like to work with autonomy, and take ownership of your warehouse, you'll be the right person for the job You'll have close support from our Operations Manager and the rest of the team to help settle in.

Your job as Storeperson at our Iverson Terrace Warehouse is to manage the daily activities of inwards goods, picking and product cutting functions to get the product out on time and in full. This includes ensuring that good arrive on time for installation, following that up and any returns if necessary. You will also be ordering in stocked items on a regular basis and managing those stock levels. You will work closely with our Operations manager and installers to ensure the operation and installations side of the business runs smoothly. You'll pride yourself on your work ethic to be accurate with inwards and outwards goods. If you like a bit of banter on the job, the flooring installers can really make your day too

You'll be operating the forklift, so a forklift licence is preferred. If you do not have one, you will need to get one before starting works, as this is something you will need on a daily basis. You'll learn how to cut carpet to send it out on jobs if you don't already know how. A full licence is also required to use company vehicles for product drop offs or collections where necessary. We're keen to have someone come on board that is accountable, has initiative, and keen to make this warehouse their own
- Experience as a warehouse store person preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of warehouse computer systems and processes
- Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment

**You will need**:

- First Aid Certified (optional)
- Fork hoist Licence is highly beneficial
- Previous warehouse experience
- Licence

**What your daily tasks might look like**:

- Accurate recording of inwards and outwards goods
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- To accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork
- To adequately package all orders for safe delivery to the customer
- Evaluate complaints and manage returns
- Support integrity of computerized inventory records
- Actively run regular stock takes
- To be responsible for the goods in / out / stores areas to comply with Health and Safety, Insurance requirements, and to generally to maintain it in a tidy and orderly way.
