As the NZ Public Sector Partners Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of the AWS cloud computing platform. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, along with managing the day-to-day interactions, you will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption for and with the partners. Key job responsibilities - Development and execute the NZ Territory Partner strategy; owning the partnering relationships with key partners in your territory, driving joint sales execution, demand generation, enablement/training, account team alignment and go to market support. > Experience working with enterprise and mid-market partners and/or customers to develop and execute a partnering strategy and joint Go-to-Market (GTM) specifically selling to Public Sector end-users. > Engage the partner field sales organization, channels and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities that benefit the end-customer. > Define a strategic territory plan aligned with the AWS strategic direction. This includes developing partner plans, approaches to new industries and market segments and establishing a process to track progress. > Manage revenue targets and work with the partners and AWS sales organizations to exceed goals. > Identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to approach with a joint AWS/Partner value proposition. > Work with AWS Architects and SME's to understand the partner’s technical requirements and existing capability and guide the direction of AWS offerings helping to implement best practice aligned with the partners strategic direction and optimizes the outcome for our joint end-customers. > Manage complex contract negotiations involving legal, marketing and business terms. About the team The ANZ Partner Territory Manager is a strategic role within ANZ Public Sector Partners team. We set the partner GTM strategy. We build a village of AWS SME's across the business to successful execute on key activities to drive growth. We are the Partners Sales Managers, creating accountability whilst acting as the voice of the partners internally. We help our partners to sell better together. 80% of our time should be spent having strategic conversations with key partners growing the business. > Based in NZ and/or have >5 years experience selling into NZ Public Sector (either sell-to and/or sell-through). >Working knowledge of software development practices and data center / infrastructure / networking technologies. #aws-anz-pubsec-ap > Experience with best in class sales operations, processes and methodologies including forecasting, pipeline management, CRM and Sales Reporting.
