Customer Experience Consultant

The Customer Experience Consultant is an integral part of helping triage and action day-to-day requests for the NZDF Human Resources Service Centre (HRSC). The role works with multiple internal and external stakeholders. The HRSC based in Trentham provides a centralised way of doing business across Army, Air Force, Navy and Civilian by providing Payroll and HR administration support for all NZ Defence Force personnel.

As the Customer Experience Consultant you will:

- Be the first point of contact for queries to the NZDF Human Resources Service Centre (HRSC).
- Deliver exceptional customer service and answer a range of queries from our personnel that require HR and payroll assistance.
- Process personnel data and transactions.
- Assist with pay and medals administration.

This fixed term opportunity is covering paternity leave in Trentham, where we offer free onsite parking and many other great benefits.

You will provide outstanding customer service, value and expertise to our NZDF customers and stakeholders. You'll be a confident communicator who always puts the customer first and delivers service excellence through high quality information and support. If you have an interest in the human resources field, this role is a good introduction and provides insight into a career within HR and Payroll.

Your skills will include:

- Strong customer service, interpersonal and relationship management.
- Experience in an administration or call centre environment or an Ask HR role would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP or corporate ERP system (desired but not essential).
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to adjust your communication style to suit and be able to professionally and positively communicate our brand and services to others.

Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there may be an option for flexible working arrangements.

Low Level Security Clearance
- You **must** be a New Zealand citizen **or** you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence **or** have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa.
- At minimum, you **must** hold New Zealand Permanent Residence **or** have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa, **and** you must be a citizen of and have lived in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America or New Zealand continuously for the last five (5) years.
- You must have a five (5) year background history that can be verified and assessed appropriately by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) to determine if you are suitable for a security clearance at this level.
